One of the fastest growing areas in the Metroplex is Forney, Texas. At Fellowship of Forney, we see this as an opportunity to reach people for Jesus Christ. The people of Fellowship have accepted the challenge to minister to this growing community by participating in the ministries of the church. We believe that every believer has been given gifts and talents that can be offered to the Lord and that our happiness in life depends on using them for His glory. We emphasize three aspects of a believer's relationship with God.

WORSHIP – By participating in worship each week, the believer brings balance to life. We were created to worship our God, and at Fellowship we have structured our schedule so that every person can be involved in worship. We offer multiple services to allow every person the opportunity to worship. Our Worship Leader, Praise Band and Praise Team do an excellent job in leading us each week in praise and worship. Our music style is contemporary and always relative to the message we believe God wants us to communicate for the week. My goal is teach from the word of God each week things that are relative and that relate to our lives. The Bible is the living word that abides forever and can change a person's life. Jesus used the media available in His day by teaching in parables and often by using visual examples because communicating a clear message is essential. We use drama, video, testimonies and many other creative ways to communicate the message of Jesus Christ. Worship is a vital part of our focus at Fellowship.

WORK – Just as we were created to worship, we were redeemed to serve. Fellowship offers many opportunities for people to serve the Lord with the gifts and talents that He has given to them. The entire purpose for winning people to Christ is so they can be deployed into places of ministry. At Fellowship, we have a ministry for everyone and we will help train everyone for the ministry that God calls him or her to do. From Parking Attendants, Welcome Teams, Home Group Leaders to Choir Members and Musicians, there are ministry opportunities for everyone. We like to think that every member is a minister at Fellowship. The time we spend learning God's word must be put into practice through acts of service and we encourage every member to plug into a ministry opportunity.

WALK – The privilege of the Christian life is to share with others. The Bible encourages us to “spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”(Heb. 10:24) We are in it together and by walking together, our Christian life is strengthened. At Fellowship we offer a ministry called Real Life Teams. These teams are small groups that meet together for Bible study, accountability and to do ministry together. We encourage every member of Fellowship to be involved in one of these groups. We offer different types of groups meeting at different times because it strengthens our walk with Christ to walk together. Ecclesiastes 4:9 says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!”
