Jesus -The Image of God | Colossians 1:15-23

1. What do you think it means that Jesus is the “image” of God? Compare with Hebrews 1:3, and Philippians 2:5-8.

2. According to verse 2, who is the agent of creation? And why were all things created?

3. How do you think God holds all things together? Why does it matter that He is in control like this?

4. If Christ is the head of the church, where should we go for our instructions?
How can a church determine God’s direction?

5. What does it mean that in Jesus, all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell?

6. What does it mean to be reconciled to God, and to make peace? Who did
this? Are we responsible to make peace with God?

7. How does God view us once we are in Christ according to verse 22?
