Is God Fair?
This week, Pastor Rick explored one of life’s most common questions: Is God fair? Using the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard from Matthew 20, he examined why God’s grace and sovereignty—not fairness—are at the heart of our relationship with Him. Just as the vineyard owner chose to pay every worker the same wage regardless of how many hours they worked, God extends His grace generously and on His own terms, not based on what we’ve earned or what we think we deserve.
Pastor Rick reminded us that fairness and entitlement are human emotions that have no place in eternity. Instead, we’re called to recognize that whatever we receive from God—in this life and the next—is far more than we could ever earn. Listen to or watch the full sermon today.
