Provide care for infants and toddlers.

Teacher’s Aid

Volunteer who assists the classroom lead.

Teacher (Summer)

Teachers for the 2/3 year old class this summer (June – August).

Church Membership Required: Yes

Frequency: Weekly on Sunday morning serving in a rotation

First Time Guest Kiosk

Greet and assist children/parents attending their the first time.

Church Membership Required: Yes

Frequency: Once a month on the second Sunday

Requirements:  Age 18+, Background check

Communion Team

Assist with setup/cleanup for communion. Includes setting up tables, communion cups, and various other needed items.

Welcome Desk

The Welcome Desk presents the face of Fellowship Forney to guests and members as they enter the campus. They are a church representative who can answer questions regarding activities and ministries, and they assist guests as needed.  

Church Membership Required: Yes 

Frequency: Weekly on Sunday, serving in a rotation 

Requirements: Age 21+ 

Coffee Team

Help make and serve coffee and other drink or food items. Various duties include setup, cleanup, & inventory tracking.   

Membership Required: No 

Frequency: Monthly on Sunday, serving in a rotation 

Requirement: Age 16+ 

Volunteer Appreciation Team

Serve on a team to show love and appreciation to our many weekly volunteers. Helpful skills include creativity and organization. 

Church Membership Required: Yes 

Frequency: Weekly on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings, serving in a rotation 

Requirements: Age 21+ 

Safety Team

Safety volunteers ensure Fellowship is a safe place to worship by providing protective, medical, and emergency management duties.  

Experience in law enforcement, public safety, or emergency medical service is preferred. Can also possess similar types of training, background, or willingness to gain needed skills. 

Church Membership Required: Allow Upcoming Members 

Frequency: Monthly or Weekly, serving in a rotation  

Requirements: Age 21+, Background check, Periodic training

IT Support Team

Serve on a team rotation to offer IT software or hardware technical support for the various ministries. Help with IT projects as needed.

Church Membership Required: No
Frequency: Serve one or more weeks per month.
Requirements: Age 18+, Interview to determine skill set.

Beach Club Volunteer

Assist with Fellowship’s Beach Club after school program at Rhodes Intermediate School. Varying duties.

Church Membership Required: No

Frequency: Beach Club meets 24 times during the FISD school year on Thursday afternoons (2:30pm – 4:30pm) Flexible volunteer schedules available. 

Requirements:  Age 16+, Background check

Impact Leadership Team Volunteer

The Impact Leadership Team plans and prepares service projects where our church can lend a helping hand. There are many ways we can impact our community, and it begins with identifying needs and then assembling the people and resources to meet those needs.

Church Membership Required: Yes

Frequency: Regular monthly meetings and additional time associated with projects as needed.  

Requirements:  Age 21+

Weekly Setup Team

Serve on a team rotation to do weekly room setup for the various ministries.

Church Membership Required: No
Frequency: Various Days & Times as needed – Usually 10-20min, flexible scheduling
Requirements: Age 16+ (Age 12-16 if accompanied by a parent)

Events Setup Team

Serve on a team to prepare and set up for various Fellowship events and activities.
(Examples: Men’s or Women’s’ Events, Christmas Setup, Easter Events, etc.)

Church Membership Required: No
Frequency: Usually 1-2 hours a few times per year as needed.
Requirements: Age 16+ (Age 12-16 if accompanied by a parent)

Facility Maintenance Team

Serve on a team to help with facility-related maintenance projects.

Church Membership Required: No
Frequency: Usually 1-2 hours, several times per year. (Depending on the project)
Requirements: Age 21+, skill with various tools
