Who is the Christ?
In this Sunday’s message, Pastor Jared explored Matthew 22:41-46, where Jesus engages the Pharisees in a profound theological discussion about the identity of the Messiah. While the Pharisees correctly identified that the Christ would be “the Son of David,” Jesus challenged them to understand the deeper truth revealed in Psalm 110—that the Messiah would also be the Son of God, sitting at the right hand of the Father with divine authority and equality. Pastor Jared emphasized that many of us, like the Pharisees, can know biblical truth intellectually but miss the point of having a genuine relationship with Jesus. He challenged the congregation to stop looking for God to meet their expectations and instead open their eyes to what He is already doing in their lives—whether through relationships He’s placed in their path, opportunities to serve their families, or the simple call to share their faith with others.
