The Great Tribulation
Pastor Rick continued the Matthew 24 series by examining the “abomination of desolation” and the end-times events Jesus described. Drawing on Daniel 9, he explained how the prophecy of 70 weeks was fulfilled with historical precision in the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the rejection of the Messiah, while the final seven-year tribulation remains a future period focused on Israel. He also pointed to Revelation 19 to show that Jesus will return in power to establish His everlasting kingdom, and he reminded the congregation that nothing can thwart God’s plan, which Jesus Himself holds together.
