From Rejection to Redemption
In this week’s sermon from Matthew 21, Pastor Rick unpacked two powerful parables Jesus told after the Pharisees questioned His authority. In the parable of the two sons, Jesus illustrated that answering God’s call begins with repentance — changing your mind and turning toward Him, just as the tax collectors and sinners did. The second parable, about the vineyard tenants who rejected and killed the owner’s servants and son, reveals that Israel’s rejection of the Messiah opened the door for the church to become the vessel through which God is building His kingdom. The message ultimately came down to one question: is Jesus the solid foundation you’re building your life on, or the stone that will crush you? The choice is ours to make.
