Course 4

Survey of the Old Testament

This is a 14-week course that divides the Old Testament into 10 periods of time from the Pre-Patriarchal Period until the Post-Exile Period. Learning the dates and times of the Old Testament and where each book fits into that timeline helps us to understand how God was pointing the nation of Israel toward the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ. This course will include a summary of each book, as well as recognizing key people from Moses to the Kings of Israel and the Prophets who spoke to them.

Course 3

Introduction to Biblical Archaeology

This fourteen-week course introduces students to the most compelling archaeological discoveries that affirm the Bible’s historicity and reliability. Drawing from Dr. Weaver’s Faith Affirming Findings book and video series, we will examine key artifacts, inscriptions, and sites that illuminate the world of Scripture and powerfully validate its accuracy and trustworthiness. Students will gain a clearer understanding of how archaeology strengthens confidence in God’s Word and equips them to defend its historical credibility with clarity and conviction.

Course 2

The Life and Writings of Paul

This fourteen-week course offers an in-depth exploration of the life, ministry, and writings of the Apostle Paul. The first portion of the course will focus on the book of Acts, which provides a divinely inspired narrative of Paul’s dramatic conversion, his three missionary journeys, and his journey to Rome under arrest. The remainder of the course will survey Paul’s thirteen epistles, examining the historical background, theological themes, and pastoral concerns that shaped each letter. Students will gain a deeper understanding of Paul’s role in the early church and the enduring relevance of his writings for Christian faith and practice today.
